Nanaimo RCMP seek help locating woman last seen at start of week

Police in Nanaimo are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman last seen at the beginning of the week.

Kandace Pirart, 33, was last seen in Nanaimo Monday, Aug. 1, said Nanaimo RCMP in a press release, and her disappearance is out of character. Her family is concerned for her safety and well-being, police said.

Pirart stands 5-foot-4 and weighs 130 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on Pirart’s whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, quoting file No. 2022-26521.
