According to a press release, Jaegar, a “highly-trained” dog, is believed to have been taken around July 30 from a home on Alger Road in Lantzville.

“Jaeger … has never left the owner's property unless on a leash,” said Const. Gary O'Brien. “Investigation has determined the dog was taken without consent from the property.”
