UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP report Karen Linda Clark has been found safe and sound.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate 59-year-old Karen Linda Clark who has not been seen or heard from since Feb 16.

A police press release notes that her disappearance is out of character and her family is extremely worried for her safety and well-being.

Clark’s sister reported her missing to the Nanaimo RCMP on Wednesday and a missing person’s investigation was initiated.

Clark has recently been living with a family member on Metral Drive and had talked about travelling to Vancouver but this has not been confirmed.

Clark’s phone is not connected to a network and she has not responded to any e-mails, calls or texts from friends or family in the last month.

Clark is white, 5-foot-6, 150 pounds with long blonde or blonde/grey hair and blue eyes.
