Police report Lana Jane Cuthbert has been located safe and sound

UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP report Lana Jane Cuthbert has been located safe and sound.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate 22-year-old Lana Jane Cuthbert who was reported missing by her family Monday.

According to police, investigators were told that her family lost touch with her almost two years ago and the only contact they have had with her was via a voice message received in late 2018.

The family has continued their search efforts throughout the last two years and are now at the point where they have decided to reach out to the RCMP for help in their search.

The most recent picture of Cuthbert, who may also go by the name of Lana Monstaa, is from her high school graduation in 2014.

Cuthbert is Caucasian, five feet tall and in 2014 weighed 130 pounds. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and no known tattoos.

Investigators have learned that Cuthbert may be in the Nanaimo area and are currently following up on this information.
