UPDATE: 29-year-old Nanaimo woman has been found safe and sound

UPDATE: The Nanaimo RCMP have confirmed the woman reported missing Monday, Feb. 27, has been located safe and sound.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: Police in Nanaimo are asking for help locating a woman who has lost contact with her family.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, the family of Cheyenne Davidson, 29, have not had contact with her for several months. They got in touch with police on Feb. 27 asking for a well-being check, and based on the information conveyed, police are concerned for her safety, the release stated.

Investigators followed up with numerous jurisdictions on the Island and Lower Mainland, as well as the missing woman’s friends and associates.

The missing woman is 5-foot-7, 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, quoting file No. 2023-6771.
