Nanaimo RCMP ask for tips to help identify women who allegedly stole from beauty shop

Nanaimo RCMP are asking the public for help to identify suspects who allegedly stole from a north Nanaimo beauty products store.

According to an RCMP press release, two women stole a number of beauty products Jan. 23 from Sally Beauty, located in Dickinson Crossing at 6894 Island Highway N.

Police spoke with an employee who said the two women entered the business just before 4 p.m. and allegedly selected a number of items, including a blow dryer and hair products, and then left without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise. Surveillance images were obtained, but to date, the suspects have not been identified.

Both women are thought to be in their early to mid 20s, and wore glasses and tuques. One suspect appears to have bright pink or red hair. Anyone who has information on the identity of these individuals is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2023-2399.
