A Nanaimo man has gone missing and his family is extremely worried for his safety and well-being, say RCMP.

Nanaimo RCMP issued a press release Tuesday advising that they are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 33-year-old Jordan Moffitt, who was reported missing March 12. He has “significant personal issues,” the release notes.

“Investigators have undertaken extensive patrols for Moffitt and have been unable to locate him,” police say. “Moffitt’s vehicle was recently impounded and he does not possess a cell phone.”

Moffitt is Caucasian, 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, with blond hair and grey eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the non-emergency line of the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
