Nanaimo Mounties hope the public can identify a man who allegedly exposed himself to a woman in late April.

Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a man who allegedly exposed himself to a female driver.

Police say the incident took place at about 3:30 p.m. on April 27, in the vicinity of Highland Boulevard and Cosgrove Crescent.

The female witness told investigators she first saw the man when she pulled over to the side of the road to receive a phone call. While on the phone, the victim said the suspect walked up to her driver’s side door, unzipped his pants and exposed himself to her. The woman told police she immediately drove away but returned to use her phone to take a picture of the suspect.

The suspect is described as either First Nations or South Asian, 50-60 years old with extremely weathered skin. He may have been intoxicated and was having some difficulty walking. He was last seen walking along Highland Boulevard toward Brooks Landing shopping centre.
