Police are investigating an incident in which a woman was approached by a man allegedly masturbating.
The incident happened Monday at about 3:30 p.m. after a 22-year-old woman got off a city bus at Jingle Pot and Mill roads and noticed there was a man pushing a bicycle who was following her and trying to engage her in conversation.
She ignored him, but after he continued making comments she turned around to confront him and discovered he was masturbating.
The suspect allegedly made a final comment to her and went on his way.
Because the incident was not reported until four hours afterward, police said the incident is difficult to investigate.
People are asked to call police immediately when such incidents occur.
The suspect is described as approximately 5'7" tall, obese with short hair, between 20 and 30 years old, and was wearing a hoodie.
