Nanaimo RCMP with the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit have arrested a man and woman from Nanaimo in connection with a suspicious death in Victoria.
A Nanaimo man and woman were both arrested today (April 29) in relation to the homicide of Shaun Alexander McGregor that occurred in Victoria in 2015.
The investigation into McGregor's death began April 9, 2015, when Victoria police were called to an apartment in the 1500 block of Begbie Street in Victoria, after McGregor's body was discovered. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects and are set to appear in court at a later time. Their names are being withheld until charges have been formally sworn against them.
According to a Victoria Police Department press release, no further details will be provided at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.
