The honorary salute from Nanaimo Marine Festival in July will go to the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce in celebration of its 125th anniversary.
The 2014 Nanaimo Marine Festival and World Championship Bathtub Race, which is set for July, will see the chamber of commerce, a long-time festival supporter, as the theme of the Sail Past on Wheels Fun parade. Honorary parade marshall will be Kim Smythe, chamber's CEO.
