The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died while scuba diving near Nanoose on the weekend.

Paul Scott Revane, 53, of Nanaimo, was diving at a popular dive site off of Nanoose Bay late Friday afternoon when his diving companion noticed he was in distress.
