Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing woman who may be in the company of “questionable” characters.

Amanda Schilling, 34, has not been seen nor heard from since Dec. 26, according to a police press release, and was reported missing on Jan. 6.

“[She] is believed to be shelterless and may be associating with individuals of questionable character. Given her current situation, there is concern for her safety and well-being,” the release noted.

The missing woman is 5-foot-5, 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2023-699.
