Missing Nanaimo teen found

Mondana Alizadeh, a Nanaimo teen missing since Wednesday, has been found.

Nanaimo RCMP are seeking the public's help to locate 18-year-old Mondana Alizadeh.

Nanaimo RCMP report an 18-year-old missing since Wednesday has been found.

Mondana Alizadeh, who also goes by the first name Sarah, was on a temporary pass from the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Wednesday, when she was dropped of by her mother at 7:30 p.m. at Woodgrove Centre shopping mall.

Her mother returned to the mall at 8 p.m. to pick her up, but Alizadeh was not there.

Police said they have since received information from NRGH that Alizadeh had returned to the hospital Thursday evening.
