UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP say that the man who was missing has been located safe and sound.
PREVIOUSLY POSTED: Friends and family are hoping the public can help locate a man said to be experiencing personal difficulties.
According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, William Elliot, 31, is missing and loved ones are extremely concerned for his well-being and safety. Elliot frequents downtown Nanaimo and is believed to be in the Nanaimo area.
He stands 5-foot-7 and is described in the press release as Indigenous and having a stocky build. He may be wearing a blue baseball cap and blue bandana.
