Minivan and sedan crash on Nanaimo’s Bowen Road

Accident happened at 5:15 p.m. in front of Quarterway Pub

Evening traffic is slow on Bowen Road following a two-vehicle crash near the Quarterway Pub.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue and B.C. Ambulance Service were called to the scene at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday after a minivan and a sedan collided in the eastbound lanes in front of the pub.

Traffic eastbound on Bowen was reduced to one lane as crews cleared the scene.

There were no reports of injuries.
