After the May 10 TD Bank robbery, Oceanside RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse Foreman said police were able to identify Lee through security footage.

Foreman had said that, while no injuries were reported from that robbery, Lee “indicated that he had a gun, but nobody saw anything.”

Police later found a stolen brown 2015 Nissan Altima, that they suspected had been used during or after the robbery.
