The $100-million Hilton hotel project is looking for financiers.
Insight Holdings Ltd. is looking for investors in Asia now that it's secured rezoning for a 35-storey waterfront hotel.
“This is a significantly large project and it takes time to get the financing in place cause you’re competing with all the other large projects in North America really, probably the world,” said Brian Henning, local spokesman for the hotel project.
Mayor Bill McKay recently talked about a trade mission to China, in which he’d help advance discussion on investment in the hotel project.
