A Toronto-based Google engineer will be speaking at an upcoming free event in Nanaimo.
Rohit Gupta, a solutions engineer with Google, will be discussing cloud computing and machine learning and how they are implemented in real-world situations at Vancouver Island University, Building 210, Room 275, on Oct. 29 at 3:30 p.m.
Gupta, who has been with Google for six years, will also be taking questions from the audience on topics such as how to work at Google and industry career paths.
