Police in Nanaimo hope the public can help locate a valuable guitar and expensive travel bag stolen during a vehicle break-in downtown Nanaimo last week.
The theft happened sometime overnight Feb. 25 from a vehicle parked in the Coast Bastion Hotel parking lot on Front Street.
A Gibson SG electric guitar and a Louis Vuitton travel bag were stolen. The guitar is burgundy-coloured and U.S.A.-made, with a serial number of 00415330. The handbag is brown leather and contained an assortment of women’s clothing and a charging cord.
Anyone with information about the location of these items is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file No. 2021-6917.
