Five propane tanks stolen from high school in Nanaimo

Fuel was taken from a school last week.

Five propane tanks, including an industrial-size tank, were stolen from John Barsby Secondary School overnight Sept. 13, according to a Nanaimo RCMP press release.

The tanks were taken from a locked compound at the school. Four of the tanks are white and one has ‘tea party’ written on it. The industrial-size tank is silver-grey, with five-to-10 ratchet straps and either ‘Wellington’ or ‘Ladysmith’ written on the side.
