Firefighters bring a rescue stretcher to retrieve a woman who fell and broke her leg in Colliery Dam Park Monday afternoon.
Emergency personnel at the scene said the woman, in her mid-20s, slipped when she lost her footing on a wet log.
Wet and cold fall weather has created slippery conditions on woodland pathways, especially around roots, fallen trees, and wooden stairs and walkways.
