District of Lantzville: where to vote and how to vote for mayor, council and trustees

General voting day across British Columbia is Nov. 15.

Qualifications

Any Canadian citizens who are at least 18 years old may cast their ballots, provided they have lived in B.C. for at least six months and in Nanaimo for at least a month leading up to voting day.

Residents must provide two pieces of identification, at least one bearing a signature, to prove residency. Photo ID is not required. Examples of acceptable identification include a driver’s licence, B.C. ID card, ICBC insurance document, utility bill, property tax notice, social insurance card, care card, debit card or credit card.

General voting day

On Nov. 15, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., voters in the District of Lantzville may cast their ballots at Costin Hall, 7232 Lantzville Rd.

Advance voting

Advance voting is Wednesday (Nov. 5) at the District of Lantzville office, 7192 Lantzville Rd.
