Car’s front and back ends damaged in crash on Nanaimo Parkway

One patient taken to hospital for observation after single-vehicle crash

A car crash on the Nanaimo Parkway has slowed traffic this morning.

Emergency crews were called just before 11 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of the parkway, about half a kilometre south of East Wellington Road. The car sustained damage to both its front and back end.

One occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital for observation.

Southbound traffic is pinched to one lane, but is moving as crews clear the scene.
