All 16 members of this year’s Winnipeg Cops for Kids Bicycle Relay Team will be escorted by Mounties on motorcycle from Departure Bay ferry terminal at 8 a.m. on Friday (Sept. 13) as it makes its way to its final destination of Tofino for the 2013 West For Wishes ride.
Each year, Winnipeg Police Service picks a destination about 2,500 km from Winnipeg and rides there in 200-km relays in fewer than five days to raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation. Please visit www.wpscopsforkids.ca.
