The City of Nanaimo is hosting a series of open houses this month focusing on the Nanaimo Food Charter and Strategy that is currently being prepared.
Anybody interested in improving community through food, creating business opportunities through food or simply have some great ideas are invited to attend.
The first open house is scheduled for Tuesday (June 25) from 4-7 p.m. at the Service and Resource Centre, 411 Dunsmuir St.; Wednesday (June 26) from 4-7 p.m. at Beban Park Social Centre; and Thursday (June 27) from 4-7 p.m. at Oliver Woods Community Centre.
