City releases updated youth resource guide

NANAIMO – Guide lists resources for substance abuse, housing, mental health, food and other services tailored for young people.

The city has published a redesigned online resource guide tailored for youth.

The Nanaimo Youth Resource Guide lists information about services available to young people, including support for drug and alcohol abuse, employment services, housing, mental health, access to low-cost/no-cost food, drop-in programs, and recreation opportunities.

The guide's digital-only format, available on the city website, also features QR codes linking to public transit schedules and city parks and trails.

More than 50 organizations are represented in the guide, produced by the Youth Advocates Committee.

For more information or to view the guide, please visit the city website.
