Charges added to indecent exposure case

NANAIMO – Timothy Robert Mooney, 30, scheduled to make court appearance today (Dec. 16).

A man arrested for indecent exposure in late September is expected to make another appearance in Nanaimo provincial court today (Dec. 16).

Timothy Robert Mooney, 30, was charged in October with two counts of indecent exposure and two counts of breach of probation but has since seen additional charges against him, according to Leanne Mascolo, Crown counsel.

Amongst the other charges listed against Mooney, according to the B.C. court services’ website, are exposing himself to a person under 16 and another breach of probation.

“As more information came in, we decided to lay more charges with different dates,” Mascolo said to the News Bulletin.

Mooney was originally in custody, but has since been released on bail, according to Mascolo.
