Krista Neumann and son Levi take part in Nanaimo’s Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge at Woodgrove Centre on Saturday.

The Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge, organized locally by Vancouver Island Health Authority, was observed across the world and seeks to establish public breastfeeding as a normal practice. Twenty-six mothers and 27 babies took part in this year’s Nanaimo event.
