Two cars crashed and both ended up off the roadway this morning in north Nanaimo.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue and B.C. Ambulance Service were called to the intersection of the old Island Highway, Hammond Bay Road and Aulds Road after two cars collided.
A Honda ended up on the median on one side of the old Island Highway, while a Toyota ended up on the sidewalk on the opposite side of the highway.
There were no reports of injuries.

According to ICBC statistics, the intersection had 35 crashes in 2020, the fifth-most among Nanaimo intersections.
