A bus and a Jeep collided tonight in Harewood.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue, Nanaimo RCMP, B.C. Ambulance Service and RDN Transit were on scene Saturday, Feb. 3, at Fifth Street and Howard Avenue following the accident, which happened at about 8:20 p.m.
At least one person was taken to hospital and Fifth Street was completely closed in both directions.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue was awaiting an officer’s report and didn’t have any further information available at press time.
The bus involved was on the No. 40 VIU Express route.
