Nanaimo RCMP have an arrest warrant for two brothers suspected of committing a violent robbery at a home near Sterling Avenue and Second Street.

The robbery happened June 2 when Jesse Goodale, 24, and his brother Chase, 21, allegedly went to a home attempting to purchase drugs, but were told no drugs were available, said Const. Gary O’Brien, Nanaimo RCMP spokesman.

“They took exception to that and Jesse is alleged to have head-butted one of the occupants of the house and caused him to lose a tooth and Chase allegedly picked up a pair of scissors and swiped that at another occupant and cut that person on the arm,” O’Brien said.

Police also allege the Goodale brothers took electronic devices from the house when they left.

“They’re violent guys,” O’Brien said. “The public should be wary of that and we want to find them and hold them accountable.”

Anyone who sees the suspects is asked to call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about the suspects can also call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.nanaimocrimestoppers.com.
