A stolen boat was found two days later, but was missing its motor, radio and accessories.

Nanaimo RCMP issued a press release this week asking for tips about the crime, which happened in mid-May.

The 15-foot Hourston Glascraft runabout was reported stolen May 13. It was recovered two days later near Centre Street, but was missing a 50-horsepower Honda outboard motor, a VHF radio and blue Bimini cover.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the Nanaimo RMCP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2021-17329.
