Beban Park to undergo energy study

Beban Park Recreation Centre will undergo an energy study later this year to determine what efficiencies need to be made, says a city staff report.

Beban Park Recreation Centre will undergo an energy study later this year to determine what efficiencies need to be made.

Current concerns with the building shell and ventilation equipment at Cliff McNabb Arena will require more immediate upgrades, which forced staff to move the study up from its original 2012 date.

The study, which costs about $40,000, is in the 2011-2015 financial plan and the money will come from the Sustainability Initiatives Reserve.
