With the Christmas season approaching B.C. Ferries will be offering additional sailings to account for the anticipated increase in passengers in Nanaimo.
From Dec. 18 to Jan. 4, 42 extra sailings will be added to the Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay run and four sailings for Duke Point to Tsawwassen.
In a press release, B.C. Ferries said Dec. 26, 27 and 28 are expected to be the busiest days, especially midday on Dec. 27.
