RCMP are recommending assault charges against two teen girls from Nanaimo.
The charges stem from a video of an fight between five teen girls fighting near a bus exchange at Woodgrove Centre March 17, which was posted on the Internet.
Investigators arrested two girls, ages 14 and 13, in early April and then released them on a promise to appear in youth court June 16.
The suspects are prohibited from having any contact with the victim, who suffered a cut lip and bruises.
