Police in Nanaimo are looking for a man who allegedly cashed in stolen lottery tickets September 24.

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for public assistance in identifying a male who allegedly cashed in stolen scratch and win lottery tickets.

The 25 tickets, valued at $10 retail each, were stolen from a B.C. Lotto kiosk at Country Club Mall on Sept. 24 of last year and were cashed later that day at the Uplands Convenience Store. The identity of the male suspect is unknown and the crime remains unsolved.

The suspect is described as a bald Caucasian with a medium to heavy-set build and about 30 to 40 years old.
