Nanaimo RCMP say there was an accident in the Trans-Canada Highway and Morden Road area, south of Nanaimo today.
There were four vehicles involved in a minor collision, said Cpl. Jon Stuart, Nanaimo RCMP spokesman, in an email.
“Witnesses and drivers report a dog running into traffic, causing two vehicles to swerve to avoid it,” said Stuart. “A chain reaction caused several vehicles to collide. Two vehicles were towed, two were not.”
It is not known if there were any injuries.
