UPDATE: 25-year-old who missed ‘required’ treatment has been found

UPDATE: RCMP report that the 25-year-old who was missing has been located and is safe.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: A 25-year-old did not show up as expected at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and is now considered missing.

Nanaimo RCMP advised they are looking for Tara-Marie Connor, who has not been seen since missing “required treatment” at the hospital Dec. 20 and hasn’t been seen nor heard from since then.

“This treatment is essential and as a result, police and … caregivers have concern for Connor,” the release noted.

Connor is 5-foot-5, 180 pounds with long brown hair and blue eyes and is known to frequent emergency shelters throughout Nanaimo. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2021-46807.
