The John Barsby Bulldogs made history, playing a true home game on home turf for the first time.

The Bulldogs’ AA varsity squad defeated the Nanaimo District Islanders AAA team 34-14 in exhibition play Friday, Sept. 6, at the new turf field at Harewood Centennial Park.

GAME ON … The Bulldogs play the Mission Roadrunners on Friday, Sept. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Harewood Centennial. NDSS hosts the Ballenas Whalers on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Q’unq’inuqwstuxw Stadium.
