Nanaimo woke up to another blanket of snow this morning, and the region isn't done with wintry weather quite yet.

Environment Canada is forecasting more flurries on Tuesday, Feb. 4, with a 40 per cent chance of flurries continuing overnight, but it has lifted the snowfall warning that had been in place to start the week.

Nanaimo won't be able to look forward to much snow melt with today's high forecast at -1 C.

The heavy snowfall that started Monday, Feb. 3, contributed to 15 motor vehicle incidents that day ranging from vehicles sliding off the road to multi-vehicle crashes. For more on the city's snow-clearing response and waste collection cancellations, click here.
