UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP have advised that the 48-year-old man reported missing July 23 has been found safe.
PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP is concerned for the safety and overall well-being of a 48-year-old man who was last seen at the hospital.
RCMP are asking for the public’s help with finding the missing man, last seen leaving Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23.
According to police, he has significant health issues and requires daily medication, so there is extreme concern for his overall well-being.
The missing person is described as standing 5-foot-4, weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a black t-shirt and a grey housecoat. He has no cell phone and no immediate access to money.
