Missing Nanaimo woman hasn't been seen for two weeks

A woman who hasn't been seen since Aug. 20 is now considered missing, say Nanaimo RCMP.

Police are asking for the public's help to locate a woman who has not been seen for two weeks.

In a press release, Nanaimo RCMP said Jennifer Blackburn, 40, was last seen Aug. 20.

At the time, the Indigenous woman was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a jean jacket. She has green eyes, long reddish hair and stands 5-foot-9, 141 pounds.

Anyone with information on Blackburn's whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP's non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, citing file No. 2024-27998.
