A multi-instrumentalist and songwriter will captivate audience at the Port Theatre with a unique blend of jazz, folk and pop.
Tai Williams will perform on Saturday, March 22, as part of the Port Theatre’s Discovery series.
“Hailing from a small town in southern Vancouver Island, her early years were spent studying and performing classical music. As a young adult, Tai taught herself to play guitar and began songwriting, developing and finessing her sound,” noted a news release from the Port. “Today, her music is a meeting of soaring melodies and poignant storytelling.”
She is working on her debut album, which is set to release this year.
The Discovery series features emerging artists from Vancouver Island with a goal to support and grow local talent in the region.
