Rogers proposes telecommunications tower in Nanoose Bay area

Rogers Communication has proposed the installation of a telecommunications tower in a location in 1800 Serenity Pl., in Nanoose Bay.

The proposed tower would be 53 metres tall, and include antennas and a lightning rod. The goal is to improve the wireless coverage in the northern area of Nanoose Bay, including the vicinity of Northwest Bay Road, and also meet the growing demands for wireless services.

Rogers will host a public meeting at the Nanoose Bay Elementary School gymnasium on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m.
