Western Edge Theatre is testing people’s knowledge of Canada.

The theatre company hosts the Great Canadian Challenge on Saturday (May 6). The event is a fundraiser for the organization.

People are invited to enjoy a beer and burger and compete for prizes by testing their Canadian know-how.

“Enter a team or we’ll join you up with one when you arrive,” said Brian March, artistic director of Western Edge Theatre, in a press release. “And then get some fun and friendly competition. You’ll get a jump on Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations and also on our 2017-18 season, which will feature an all-Canadian lineup.”

The Great Canadian Challenge is at 6:30 p.m. upstairs at the Taphouse Restaurant, located at 321 Selby St.

Tickets are $25 and include a beer, or other beverage, and burger. A tax receipt for $10 is also available.

Tickets are available online at http://westernedge.org or by calling 250-816-6459.
