Western Edge Theatre is hosting a sensuous fundraising evening.

The theatre company hosts Sensations Saturday (Feb. 25) at Tandoori Junction, located at 489 Wallace St.

Rick Meyers will MC the event, which features an original short play called Chocolate, a performance by pianist and guitarist Beth DeVolder, cha-cha lessons from Shiloh Durkee and an audience participation event searching for the greatest love story ever told.

“Sensations is an evening of romantic fun with delights for the eyes, ears and palate,” said Brian March, artistic director of Western Edge in a press release. “First we’ll have some tantalizing food and beverage tastings from local businesses, followed by offerings of theatre, dance and live music, all in the cozy nightclub atmosphere of the Starlight Room at Tandoori Junction.”

The evening includes food and beverage tastings from Arbutus Distillery, McLean’s Specialty Foods, Tandoori Kitchen and the Wolf Brewing Co. There will also be door prizes and a raffle.

“Add a splash of red to your evening wear,” said March. “And bring your partner, a friend or come on your own to the social event of the year.”

Tickets are $30, available in advance by calling 250-816-6459 or by visiting http://westernedge.org.
