Western Edge Theatre appoints new artistic director

NANAIMO - Nanaimo's Western Edge Theatre appoints Brian March as the artistic director.

Western Edge Theatre recently appointed Brian March as the new artistic director.

March has been a director on many plays produced by Western Edge over the years including The Dishwashers and His Greatness.

“Western Edge Theatre is a jewel in the Nanaimo arts scene and, in taking the post of artistic director, I hope to maintain and continue to improve its profile,” said March in a press release. “Two of my main goals this season are to identify and pay tribute to our loyal audiences, while forming strong community partnerships with local businesses and support agencies.”

Former artistic director and Western Edge Theatre founder, Frank Moher, is stepping into the newly created position of executive director. He will oversee the organization’s operation.
