Soprano singers let voices soar

Nanaimo singers perform classical summer concert downtown Nanaimo

Three accomplished soprano singers participate in a late July concert.

Brittany Hannah, Elizabeth Herman and Haley Porter, all students of voice teacher Christine McMahon, perform at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, on Chapel Street in downtown Nanaimo, July 28 at 7 p.m.

The women sing a program of solos and ensembles, accompanied by pianist Donna Falconer.

Their program features music from the Baroque to the 20th century, and includes compositions by Purcell, Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Delibes, Chausson, Faure, Satie, Barber, Bernstein, and Gilbert and Sullivan.

In addition to a wealth of performance experience, the three women bring a great joy of singing.

Tickets to the concert are $10 at the door.
