They’re all-stars on the entertainment scene, and they’re coming back to Nanaimo.
The Queen’s announced last week that the R&B Allstars are booked for a show Sept. 22.
The Vancouver group formed in the 1980s and enjoyed a 20-year career before disbanding. Prior to the split, the group had garnered a following performing with acts such as James Brown, Chuck Berry and others.
The Allstars reformed in 2013 and now comprise seven of original members and five newcomers. Over the years the band has had more than 30 different members.
